Also in the picture Brian Sweeney, PRO and Cathal Roarty Treasurer Loughside CommunityThe Loughside Community 5km fun walk/jog/run has raised over €5,000 for two local National Schools.The event was run by Loughside Community in conjunction with Woodland NS and Cashelshanaghan NS.More than 750 people showed up on the night and the event was reported as a great success. Noel Sweeney, chairperson of the Loughside Community said “there was great work done by the parents committees from both schools and members of the Loughside Community”.Brian Sweeney PRO Loughside Community presents a cheque to Janet Russell Cashelshanaghan NS“There was a great buzz on the night and a real sense of community spirit, which is what we wanted to achieve”.The Loughside Community would like to wish Kevin Caldwell well in his retirement as principal of the Woodland NS during this summer.
